Amy Vernetti is a Managing Director with Taylor Winfield, Inc. (http://www.taylorwinfield.com), a twenty-year old technology boutique executive search firm. Amy has spent her entire career helping to build management teams of venture capital backed technology start-ups. She is very well known for her executive presentations and is extensively profiled and quoted in Business Week, Fast Company, InternetWorld, CNNfn and CNET, among others, on the topic of human capital. Amy was also a contributor to the human capital section of Guy Kawasaki's new book, The Art of the Start.
Amy is an alumna of Korn Ferry International and Heidrick and Struggles where she was a member of the Technology Practice. She was also a member of the launch team for Heidrick On-Line. Amy was employee number 20 at Garage.com where she was the Human Capitalist. At Garage.com, Amy and her team launched a suite of services aimed at helping early stage technology companies recruit and retain the best talent. Throughout her recruiting career, Amy has worked for clients such as Netscape, Apple Computer, Dell Computer, Autodesk, Novell as well as several early stage companies
Amy attended St. Mary's College of California on a NCAA Division I basketball scholarship. She can be seen around her Rockridge neighborhood coaching youth soccer and basketball.
