| Before Your Event Begins |

Is it easy to begin using Acteva? |
|
Creating your Acteva account only takes minutes and requires no technical expertise. You start by visiting www.Acteva.com and clicking on "Create Account". It can then take as little as 20 minutes to get your customized registration page set up. Once your page is set up, you’re ready to go Live and you can begin accepting registrations! |

Is a long-term agreement or exclusive commitment required? |
|
No. There are no minimum fees or commitments required. Acteva is a pay-as-you-go-service with an open agreement. In addition, there a wide range of packages available - such as event fee packs and registration processing fee packs - that can be pre-purchased to receive discounts.

How much will it cost to use Acteva? |
|
There are two types of charges for using Acteva to accept online registrations and credit card payments. First, there is a charge to use the software. This includes the ability to create registration pages, accept and manage registrations and process payments. And when you leverage Acteva’s merchant account, we’ll handle all refund requests and credit card disputes for you. Second, there is a payment processing fee when accepting payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Can I use Acteva for free events? |
|
Yes! Acteva can be used for a free event in the same way you would use it for a paid event. In addition, Acteva offers a standard registration page template for those who only run free events. |

Is the Acteva website secure? Will my attendee’s data be secure? |
|
Acteva has processed over 1.75 million online transactions, is PCI compliant and adheres to the most stringent guidelines for processing payments online. Acteva's web site is secure on every web page where someone is required to enter their personal information. For example, on the page where the customer enters their name, address, email, etc. and on the page where credit card information is entered, the pages are fully secured using 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
Credit card data – both yours and your attendees - is private and protected. Acteva has a strict privacy policy and DOES NOT store credit card numbers. All credit card transactions are processed in real-time. |

Can I create a customized, branded registration page? |
|
| Yes. It’s easy to create a professional-looking registration page to meet your needs in minutes – including your organizations’ color scheme, fonts and logos. You can create a basic registration page without customization but Acteva’s Professional Services Team offers flexible customization options for those with more advanced requirements. |

Can Acteva be set up to offer multiple registration options? |
|
| Yes. With Acteva you can create as many different registration options as you need. Some examples include: Member, Non-Member, Student, VIP or General Admission. As an organizer you can also include time-based registration options (such as an Early Bird rate that expires on a given date). |

Can I offer discounts and incentives to participants? |
|
Yes - there are many options available. For example, you can offer time-based discounts (such as an Early Bird option that expires on a given date).
Acteva’s Promo Code module allows organizers to select “key” attendees – such as speakers, presenters and VIPs - to receive specific discounts at the time of registration. These Promo Codes help reward attendees and offer additional incentives to attend your event. |

Which credit cards do you accept? |
|
| Acteva accepts all major credit cards. The Acteva Plus account plan accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover payments while the Acteva Express account plan accepts Visa and MasterCard. |

What payment options are available other than via credit card? |
|
| Acteva offers additional payment options to fit the needs of your customers. These include: |

Check Processing – for online registration where Acteva receives and processes payments by check |
|

|
Pay by Check – for online registration where the organizer processes payments by check directly |
|
| Payment via Purchase Order is also an option, which is especially helpful for organizations such as schools and government entities. |

What if some of my attendees can’t register online? |
|
| Acteva also offers convenient Telephone, Fax and Mail-in registration services if you need to provide your attendees with additional ways to register. |

| Managing Your Active Event |
|

How do I direct people to my registration page? |
|
| You’ll start by creating your own customized shortcut URL. You can then use this URL on your website, emails or printed materials to direct attendees to your registration page. |

Can I easily make changes and updates to my Acteva registration page? |
|
| You can log in to your Acteva account and make LIVE updates to your registration page at any time. Data such as event details, pricing options – even the look and feel of your registration page can easily be updated. |
|

How can I collect additional information about attendees? |
|
| Acteva provides the option to add a Questionnaire to help determine attendee preferences. As organizer, you have the option to choose the questions as well as determine whether they are optional or mandatory. It’s all up to you! |

How can I market and promote my event on the Web? |
|
| Acteva’s Google Base Publishing feature allows organizers to leverage the world’s most popular search engine to increase awareness of your event. Organizers using the Acteva Plus account plan can post their event on Google Base in minutes – providing an easy way for potential attendees to find the event online. |

When I have online sales, when do I get paid? |
|
| Acteva’s payment cycle depends on the account plan you select. Acteva Plus offers a choice of bi-monthly or post event payments, while Acteva Express offers payments once a month or post event. |

| After Your Event Ends |

How can I see who has registered after registration has ended? |
|
| It’s easy! Acteva’s online reporting tools provide 24/7 access to registrant data, sales revenue and much more. You can easily display reports onscreen or download and save all the information you need. As an added convenience, you can elect to be sent an email sales notification after each transaction, once a week, or twice a month. |
|

How does Acteva handle requests for refunds? |
|
| Organizers set a specific refund policy to avoid any misunderstandings with registrants. Acteva will only process a refund request that is authorized by the event organizer. Once authorized, the original purchase will be refunded as requested. |
|

|
Can I conduct surveys after the event to help gather feedback? |
|
| Yes. Post-Event Surveys help provide insight into attendee’s needs and preferences. You determine which questions will be asked and whether they are mandatory or optional. You can then use this feedback to make informed decisions to help improve future events. |

|
What tools are available to manage attendee data? |
|
| Acteva provides a variety of pre-designed reports. The report data can be downloaded as either a CSV or Excel file that can be imported into other programs. |
